10yr registered APHA BLACK/WHITE overo . Very pretty boy. Friendly. Been trail riding for years. He used to be a mountain trail horse in Colorodo. He was the leader of guided trial rides for 3 long years. He was rode every single day for hours and weeks straight. Lots and lots of river crossings. Been there, done that. He took shoes really well. We just went caming with him at Almulund mid August. Lots of noise around that place. This guy is so broke. He is super neck reined. He will lead, he will follow . He does not kick with horses on the trail right behind him. He has a nice canter to him. Jumps into the trailer nice. Backs nice, stands like a rock while mounting. My husband has a broken arm and can not mount from the ground so he has to use a picnic table to get on. He walks right up to it and after jumping on he does not move a hair till he is told to. Tied to a picket line for multiple nights nice and quiet. Walked over the bridge without even slight hesitation. Not barn sour and not buddy sour , will ride out alone . Ties nice and tacks nice. Not a skittish horse. No crazy stuff in him. We ride him in a curb bit . Not mean at all to any of my other 5 horses. I would say intermediate rider or even a beginner that knows how to ride a horse some. . I took a pic in the middle of the trail ride to show it only takes 1 hand to ride this horse. We just camped at Kathio state park 09/06/08 with him for the last 2 days. So he got 4 rides and hours under saddle. We startled many deer and he did not get scared 1 time from them.*update* 9/21/08 another camping trip for the weekend and 3 good trail rides on him at Almalund. He was great. Ive seen no soundness or health issues in him. He is just an awesome trail horse that someone who knows how to ride some would love. *update* 10/05/08 another camping weekend. this time at Tamarack state forest. I would say great for an intermediate rider. Not dead enough for a biginner, though he is not hyper at all. He is sticked at 15.05 H. Just under 15.1. Again a steal of a price for a black/white overo especially well broke and peak age. He is a good sane horse. People ask why he is for sale. Me and my husband are the only riders and we have 5 horses...$2000 Just had a fresh coggins pulled and teeth floating today 9/18/08. Update, Dixon was sold but the day he was suppose to be picked up the lady had a serious family emergency. So Dixon is now available again. We dont ride the horses in the winter but the time is coming near again. $1500
